These include free web hosting services, which are generally limited and are often supported by advertisements; shared web hosting services where a website shares the server with many other websites from hundreds to thousands; reseller web hosting allows the clients to become their own web hosts; virtual dedicated server which is also called a Virtual Private Server (VPS) in which customers can sometimes be responsible for maintaining their own server.
